I have my layouts all finished, its just I need to put content on my pages. I probably would need block and that would work out. I don't think I'll be done by the end of the hour tomorrow. Other than that Im good and can finish within the next few days.

Welcome back! How was your Spring Break? Tell me all about it. You've been out of school for 10 days so I know you will have plenty to share. Make it good!
Unfortunately, I stayed in town and didnt do too much. I went paintball two days at the place in Martin City and it was pretty fun. I just got to chill and hangout. Other than that, I hung out and relaxed most of this spring break and was defiantly better than school.

In the beginning it was pretty helpful. I was able to layout my page all nice, but I don't really need it anymore. I went against some of the stuff in my packet, which is why ts not tat helpful right now. I can do it all "freely' now, since I have my base page all set up.

I am all caught up. I have my header my footer, and im almost done finalizing my index page. It is looking pretty good so far. I have all of my sidebar and stuff and all I really need to do is just change some small details

Three things I learned about color theory is that the colors cant clash, and they have to go together. I learned to have the darkest color be your font color, and the lightest color be your background so your text is easy to see and read. These were some things that I learned with color theory.

Color scheme can change a lot on a website. It can either make or break a website. It can set the mood of you website right off the bat. If you have colors that clash, they look bad and break your website. If you have bright colors, its probably a happy topic, if its all dark and gloomy, then your website is probably more serious topic.

What did you learn about file types as you created and designed your travel website? What are some other kinds of file types you know of? What do these different files do? Explain.
I learned about .psd and Jpeg. A Jpeg is a photo that cannot be edited in photoshop. A jpeg is just a photo with no special properties. A .psd is a picture that can be edited in photoshop. It can be freely edited and needs to be changed into a Jpeg before posting on the internet.

What was your takeaway from this Travel Site? What did you learn that you didn't know before? How will the knowledge of how we built this site help you improve your future websites?
What I took away from the Travel Site we Div Tags. These are basically tables, but a lot easier to manage and move around. You can insert images as well just like tables. Another thing I learned was page behaviors. These make it able for your website to have "animations". Such as having an image change when your mouse rollovers it. This knowledge will help in upcoming website because div tags are cool

I have used Photoshop a lot. I would say I am in between an expert and a newbie. I photshoped a lot of photos for my website that I think are pretty funny. Think about how a user (me or anyone else using your site) might function and interact with your site. What are some important functional features to make your website easy to work with? How can you make it easier for the user and not frustrating? Explain why this is so important.
Some important functional features that are on my website is the navigation bar. This makes it easy for the user to navigate throughout all the different pages on my website. In general, to make a website easy to have a user interact with it, it needs to have a good color way. In other words, not having colors clashing and make it easy to read.

I didn't go to sweetheart, and had a really boring weekend. My parents were out of town so I was home alone. I couldn't drive anywhere, and had nothing to do. I played video games, made some food that was all like microwave pasta that wasn't good. I obviously watched the super bowl and was impressed about the outcome.

I honestly don't really have any thoughts on HTML. The coding activity was okay like it wasnt really that fun but it wasnt completely boring. I learned a lot about HTML and I feel pretty confidant now about what HTML is and a few commands/codes. Its pretty cool how you can command your website by using code and never actually touching the "design" side of Dreamweaver. These are my thoughts on HTML.

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do?
This weekend I didn't do a whole lot. On Friday, I hung out with some friends and someones house and just hung around and didn't do anything too fun. On Saturday, I just hung around the house and did nothing and I was really bored. On Sunday, I went over to a party to watch the playoffs for the NFL. Finally, on Monday, I had basketball practice in the morning and then I hung out at Oak Park Mall like the whole day with friends just looking at some clothes and stuff.

It all depends. If the image is copyrighted I don't think your're allowed to use it at all. But whenever you use an image that inst yours then you have to cite your source. If you don't its considered plagiarizing and you could get in some trouble. So whenever in doubt just cite the picture.

What do you know about plagiarism? What do you know about plagiarism on the internet? How do web design, the internet and plagiarism all effect each other? Explain.
What I know about plagiarism is that its bad and you shouldn't do it. If you get caught plagiarizing without citing your sources, you can be in big trouble. Teachers don't like plagiarizing because its taking someone else work and saying its yours. If you want to use a quote or something, if you cite it you should be fine.

I know a few things about web design. In science I have done a few of the "free webs" websites where you can create a website pretty easily. I know that people have to pay money to have a website domain. I also know that companies pay a lot of money to have their websites show up first on Google, Bing Etc. Some programs I know that involve web design are Freewebs.com, I know of GoDaddy but I don't really know what exactly it is. This is really the only things I know so far about web design.
